This is a marvelous picture of star explosion taken by Hubble Space Telescope; the star is called SN 1987A. It is one of the greatest cosmic explosions and is referred to as supernovas. It is 163000 light- years away and it exploded 161000 years ago, but it was only until 1987 that the explosion was seen when its light reached us. Astronomers say that the diameter round the explosion was 20000 light-years. A light-year is almost 9.5 million million Kilometers. They also confirm that the true location of this star is currently unknown and that specifying it requires extremely intricate calculations. In front of such a great sight, we express our humility to Allah and can’t say anything but All Glory to Allah, the Creator of this universe, who not only knows the settings of the stars but also calls them to witness:

“Furthermore I call

To witness the setting

Of the Stars,

And that is indeed

A mighty adjuration

If ye but knew”   Waqi’a or the Inevitable event: 75-76 (ibid)
