Modern science has recently discovered that the Earth’s size once used to be bigger than its current size, and that its size continues to contract as the years pass by.  The Holy Qur’an has very clearly made this claim more than 1400 years before any such discovery: {See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders?} [Al-Ra’d, 13:41].  Who is it that could have informed the Prophet (peace be upon it) of such an intricate scientific fact?
