Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, ordered us of all that is good and useful and  warned us against and prohibited us from anything and everything that is bad, evil, and miserable. Among the teachings of Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, for men is to let their beards grow for he said: “let the beard grow and cut the mustache short.”

A scientific study that was published by the Radiation Protection Dosimetry Journal confirmed that beards protect the skin of men from the bad ultra violet rays up to 95%. Beards also prolong the life of skin cells, preserve the freshness and vitality of the face, delay the symptoms of aging, and prevent against skin cancer those results from long exposure to sun rays.
