Scientists have proved that the clouds in the sky, weighing millions of tons are very heavy. Studies have shown that in order for the lightning to happen it needs heavy clouds called cumulus clouds. Thus, scientific fact says: There is a relationship between the heavy clouds or cumulus clouds, and the occurrence of lightning, and this is what the Glorious Quran reported as Allah the Almighty says The Thunder 13:12, ‘It is He Who doth show you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope: It is He Who doth raise up the clouds, heavy with (fertilizing) rain!’

This verse is but a witness for the great miracles of the Glorious Quran in our modern age.
