Scientists have recently performed a number of experiments in order to invent a lie detector. As a result of these experiments, they discovered that the region responsible for lying is the Prefrontal Lobe of a human brain. They further discovered the same area is quite active when making a mistake or committing a sin. Thus, they concluded that: "Lying and error occur in the same area of the head. It is amazing enough to learn that the glorious Qur'an spoke about the function of this area 14 centuries ago. Allah, the Almighty says concerning an Arab called Abu Jahl, [who was an astound enemy of Islam during the lifetime of Mohammad SAAW]: (Let him beware! If he did not, We will drag him by the forelock,- A lying, sinful forelock!) [The Clot 96: 15-16]. This forelock is called the forelock of lying and wrong doing. This is what scientists found today with magnetic resonance scanning, Glory to Allah Who has revealed these verses to be an evidence of the miraculous Book in this age!
